Design Season Closing Party on 30.10.2026

On Friday, October 30, we’re coming together to celebrate the official closing of the first city-wide Design Season Cologne! From 7 PM onwards, Design Season Cologne (DSC) and machwerkhaus köln invite everyone to join the “feierei” closing party. The exhibitions, workshops, and showrooms of machwerkschau will remain open until 9 PM, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the event into the evening before the music gets louder and the dancing begins.

As a supporter from day one and one of the key venues of Design Season Cologne, machwerkhaus köln provides the perfect setting to bring the festival to a close. Designers, exhibitors, partners, and design enthusiasts will come together to celebrate the first edition of the city-wide design festival in style.

The “feierei” takes place on the second-to-last day of machwerkschau, which runs from October 26 to 31. Now in its fifth edition, machwerkschau brings together contemporary design, craftsmanship, and urban production. Within the industrial halls of machwerkhaus köln, manufacturers, resident businesses, and students present their projects, prototypes, and new products. The focus is on circularity, innovative materials, and the future of design and production.
