Design District Südstadt × Rheinauhafen

District connects two very different sides of Cologne. The Südstadt brings the character of the Veedel – historic streets, local culture, cafés and everyday city life. While the Rheinauhafen opens up towards the river with contemporary architecture and a more international urban atmosphere.

Within walking distance of each other, the two areas form a natural design route through the south of the city: from neighbourhood to waterfront, from historic Cologne to contemporary architecture.
